Amtrak Northeast Corridor
Seventy-nine properties make up the Amtrak Northeast Corridor Keystone Opportunity Zone (KOZ). These properties are concentrated in three areas. The first, on both sides of the Amtrak Northeast Corridor right-of-way from Front Street to 30th Street, contains one-to-three-acre parcels that would be ideal for commercial development because of their proximity to highly-populated areas.

A second, heavy industrial area in the vicinity of N. 19th and Indiana in North Philadelphia which also features easy access to US 1 and I-76. It is also close to a good labor pool. This area is best suited to the small to mid-sized manufacturer.

A third area is concentrated around the thriving intersection of Broad Street and Lehigh Avenue, which is a major public transportation hub. Its most prominent KOZ property is the historic Botany 500 building. This area is ideal for the small manufacturing operation or the firm needing back office space.

Properties within this KOZ are also in the Commonwealth's Enterprise Zone. Your firm could be eligible for below-market financing through the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC) on acquisition and construction-related costs in addition to the tax exemptions.
